Our client is offering an exciting opportunity to enter the world of Commercial Property Insurance. The ideal candidate will have strong administration experience, good typing skills, an eye for detail, excellent communication skills to liaise with insurance companies and in-house clients, along with a keen willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
You will be responsible for audio typing, and once proficient, you will be entrusted with more responsibilities for your own cases.
* Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Insurance Manager and their team, ensuring the department's efficiency. The team consists of 9 members.
* Handle correspondence and telephone queries from solicitors, insurance companies, tenants, etc., appropriately.
* Liaise with insurance companies and Area Offices to ensure necessary actions regarding insurance matters, including underwriting, claims, and subsidence, are taken.
* Maintain departmental records related to holidays and absences, and ensure submission of forms and weekly returns to the Personnel Department.
* Coordinate ordering of office equipment and maintenance requests through the Group Resources Department.
The role will commence as a temporary position as soon as possible, with the intention of becoming permanent and offering a long-term career opportunity.
