Employment in this role requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover. Applicants subscribed to the DBS update service can present a valid DBS certificate instead of a new check.
* Exercise Programme Oversight: Assist in implementing exercise programmes prescribed by the physiotherapy team, adapting exercises as needed to support patient progress. Report any concerns or significant changes in patient condition to the physiotherapist.
* Exercise Class Facilitation: Support the delivery of structured exercise classes, ensuring patient engagement and safety protocol adherence.
* Equipment Maintenance: Ensure physiotherapy equipment is clean and functioning properly, following infection control guidelines.
* Facility Utilisation: Use the newly built gymnasium at Blandford Hospital to enhance outpatient physiotherapy services.
* Inventory Management: Assist with stock taking and ordering physiotherapy supplies, ensuring availability for patients.
* Training and Development: Maintain mandatory training and pursue Band 3-specific training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
