Job description:
We are recruiting a Scheduler for our Manchester Dairy
Based at our Manchester Dairy you will create production plans/schedules to facilitate efficient flow for Manufacturing and Logistics to deliver customer service at optimal cost, working to the Muller values and standards whilst striving to continuously improve.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Create accurate and timely daily production plans/schedules to deliver customer service at optimal cost, utilising assets efficiently
Monitor plan execution, highlighting risks and opportunities to the daily schedule, and resolving/escalating as appropriate
Implement and action agreed support moves within the network
Review previous day reporting on any non-conformances with Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) involving other functions where appropriate
Plan adherence, service, wastage, demand v forecast
Support implementation of business change through relevant system and process set-up
Support and actively contribute to planning performance management system (PMS)
Muller Responsibilities:
Have an active role to play in continuously improving our business
Be an active part of small teams with Continuous Improvement objectives within the E2E supply-chain
Build, manage and maintain effective working relationships with Production, Logistics, Milk Trading, and within the Planning team
Understands the impact of own actions and others on achieving site/business OGSM
Support other schedulers within team, covering for absence and deputising for advanced scheduler where appropriate
Health and safety of self and others
Ability to deliver on the job training (show and tell) to new colleagues
Your learning and development:
Site & department induction
Develop expertise in Milk and Cream categories, to understand Customer requirements, and Production and Logistics capabilities and constraints
Operational Excellence Overview including CI techniques
Develop expertise in Business System tools enabling efficient creation of plans and schedules. As400/Excel/DPS
Contribute to and Implement Planning parameters to improve E2E KPI results
On the job coaching and support from Planning Lead and Planners to meet full competency requirements for role
Level 3 Supply-Chain apprenticeship where aspiration to develop career
