Key Responsibilities of a Classroom Assistant:
* Provide in-class support to teachers and students across a range of subjects.
* Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
* Work one-to-one or with small groups to ensure students remain engaged and supported.
* Prepare learning materials and help adapt resources to suit varying abilities.
* Support students with additional needs, encouraging participation and independence.
* Contribute to a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Classroom Assistant Skills & Requirements:
* Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting is desirable.
* A proactive, supportive, and compassionate approach to working with young people.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine interest in education and student development.
* Commitment to safeguarding and supporting the needs of all students.
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
