Assembly Team Leader
Location: Royston, Hertfordshire
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday | 07:00am – 16:00pm

Roles / Responsibilities
* Lead a hands‑on assembly team on the shop floor, keeping work flowing and supporting the crew
* Allocate daily tasks, train new starters and keep a team of 5 to 10 running smoothly
* Keep standards high with safety checks, quality checks and clear reporting
* Jump into practical assembly work, including fitting insulation to large metal units
* Drive improvements, update SOPs and help make the workshop run better every day
About You
* Confident working with numbers, measurements and practical problem solving
* Brings solid manufacturing and assembly experience, ideally with larger components
* Experienced training and supporting teams, especially new and temporary staff
* Physically capable and fully authorised to work in the UK with no sponsorship needed
