Responsibilities:
* Identifying UK tax issues related to new business initiatives
* Oversees VAT compliance, corporate income tax returns and other filings
* Provide tax reporting guidance based on research of transaction tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
* Assist with internal and external tax inquiries/tax audit as they ariseResearch and analyze tax
* planning ideas to determine impacts for corporate income tax reporting
* Keeps up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation
* Special projects as needed
Required skills:
* Advanced knowledge of tax accounting, audit process, and tax law;
* Experience with preparing complicated tax returns for corporate.
* Detail-oriented, organized and able to deliver on tight timelines
* Be able to work with multicultural teams and be patient and understanding
* Be able to work with a fast paced start-up
* Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and local accounting system
* Experience from a Big-4 public accounting firm is preferred
Minimum Qualifications
* BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience5 or more years of
* experience with a public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation
* ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified
