Local Authority Senior Planning Obligations Monitoring Officer, Bedford Pay rate £44.47 per hour Contract role, Local Government Planning Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Local Authority Senior Planning Obligations Monitoring Officer in Bedford. This is a contract role, and you will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority Planning Department. Senior Planning Obligations Monitoring Officer Core Responsibilities - To keep accurate records of s106 and CIL monies received and spent, regularly liaising with Council finance officers To be responsible for proactively monitoring the progress of developments To be responsible for proactively investigating through monitoring of commencement notices, council tax or other relevant systems, breaches of CIL and Section 106 legal agreement requirements To be responsible for processing applications for exemption and relief in accordance with the CIL Regulations and the Council’s policy and be the lead officer responding to CIL appeals where calculations are not agreed upon. To develop, maintain and utilise an appropriate computer based system for corporate use which records and monitors all CIL and S106 obligations both financial and non-financial Please get in touch for more information.
