Are you organised, detail-oriented, and eager to grow your career in finance? We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our supportive and collaborative team, providing essential administrative support across all areas of the Finance function for Churchill Group companies.

As an Accounts Assistant you will:
• Support purchase order processing, invoice reconciliation, and supplier communications to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
• Assist with monthly reporting, including accruals, site spend analysis, commission calculations, and contract billing reviews.
• Maintain financial systems by updating price lists, setting up templates, and managing internal accounting data.
• Handle daily cash allocation, bank reconciliations, staff expenses, and credit card reconciliations with attention to detail.
• Provide professional support to operational teams, responding to queries and preparing reports.
• Contribute to the Year End audit process and support finance projects as directed by the Head of Finance.
As an Accounts Assistant you will bring:
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and a methodical, analytical approach to problem-solving.
• A flexible and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a growing business.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small, supportive team.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Previous experience in accounting administration is beneficial, and we offer support for AAT study to help you grow.
