Financial Planning Assistant Leading Wealth Management Firm £30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits + Hybrid Working
Are you an experienced Financial Planning Administrator with a passion for complex casework and high-quality client service? We’re working in partnership with a highly respected, forward-thinking Wealth Management firm that is looking to expand its support team with the addition of a Financial Planning Assistant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Services professional to join a business that is a leading company in the Hertfordshire area. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting financial planners and paraplanners in delivering top-tier advice and service to clients.The Role:As a Financial Planning Assistant, you will be responsible for managing and processing all post-sale administration and you’ll be involved in complex cases including Defined Benefit transfers, IHT planning, and pension administration.
* Post-sale administration and client onboarding
* Gathering documentation for LOAs and illustrations
* Organising and preparing for client meetings and compiling compliance paperwork
* New Business administration
* Maintaining client files via IO
* Supporting paraplanners with administrative tasks and assisting in basic report writing
* Acting as a key liaison with clients and providers, including complaint handling where required
* Mentoring junior team members of the team
Role Requirements:
Essential:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a Financial Planning / Wealth Management firm
* Working knowledge of platforms and a back office system
* Experience processing new business and managing pipeline cases
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
* Experience supporting DB Pension Transfer and IHT cases.
* Progression towards Level 4 Diploma (CII or equivalent
