About the role:
We are currently seeking a Training Coordinator in Electrical to join our Apprenticeships department at The Bedford College Group.
As a Training Coordinator, you will play an important role in the success of our students through:
* Apprentice Support: Support apprentices in developing skills and knowledge, track progress using OneFile, and maintain relationships with employers and tutors.
* Teaching Duties: Induct, train, assess, and support apprentices, conduct regular reviews, and deliver effective training.
* Progress Monitoring: Track and monitor apprentice progress, provide feedback, and ensure completion of qualifications.
* Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, participate in quality assurance, and manage workload effectively.
* Statutory Duties: Promote safeguarding, equality and diversity, follow health and safety requirements, and engage in training and development.
About you:
* Qualifications and Experience: Level 3 qualification, GCSEs in English and Maths, TAQA qualifications, Level 3 Award in Education and Training, 18th Edition, and vocational industry experience.
* Skills and Knowledge: Training and assessing NVQ qualifications, classroom management, promoting equality and diversity, and using IT software and eportfolio systems.
* Learner Support: Deliver effective training, provide qualitative feedback, support learners, and establish rapport.
* Professional Conduct: Prioritize workload, work under pressure, form good relationships, promote the College's reputation, and work in line with College values.
* Flexibility and Commitment: Update skills continuously, flexible work approach, willingness to travel, and awareness of health and safety requirements.
