The Marine Administrator provides essential support to the Marine Delivery Team, ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of day-to-day marine operations through reliable and proactive administrative assistance.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support to the Marine Delivery Team, including Marine Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors
* Assist with the coordination of marine operations
* Prepare, process, and track purchase orders and delivery documentation related to marine works
* Maintain accurate records of marine activities, including permits, licences, and compliance documentation
* Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, port authorities, and internal departments to resolve queries
* Assist with reporting on marine progress, costs, and resource allocation
* Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and track actions for the marine team
* Support health, safety, and environmental documentation specific to marine works


Technical Skills and Competencies

* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Computer literate (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, email) with strong administrative capability
* Ability to work collaboratively with site-based and offshore teams


Qualifications, Certifications and Experience

* Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or marine environments
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
* Experience supporting project delivery teams is advantageous
