Job Description
Based in Co Down, our client is a well established engineering business who, due to continued business success, have a need for a Supply Chain Planner.
The successful Supply Chain Planner will work closely with key suppliers to ensure that plant/materials are delivered within an agreed timeframe, ensuring alignment with the project programme.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with Supply Chain Quality engineers, monitor supplier performance against agreed timeline.
* Ensure on time delivery with frequent supplier engagement.
* Drive supplier meeting on plant / materials progress.
* Highlight any potential risks to the supply chain.
* Maintain accurate records and reports.
* Continue to develop and manage supplier relationships.
Criteria:
* 2-3 years previous experience as a Supply Chain Planner or similar
* Strong organizational skills
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and cross-functional teams,
* Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
* Good attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
Desirable Criteria
* Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
* Experience with project management.
* Experience with problem solving techniques.
Salary is in the region of £35-40k dependant upon experience. The role comes with a range of benefits including pension and life assurance.
