Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
* Provide 24/7 maintenance and technical support for rail systems, including planned and unplanned activities.
* Deliver technical assistance to the telephone help desk and support fault diagnosis and resolution.
* Carry out system engineering activities including design support, factory testing, site installation, and commissioning.
* Liaise with clients and internal engineering teams to ensure effective communication, service delivery, and contract performance.
* Produce service and monthly reports, support service review meetings, and assist with contract quotations where required.
* Develop and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of SCADA, BMS, SISS, PLCs, HMIs, and communications protocols.

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
* Strong technical knowledge of control systems, systems integration, and PLC technologies (e.g. Siemens, Mitsubishi, Rockwell).
* Ability to configure, program, and support SCADA/HMI systems and associated protocols.
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder and client-facing skills.
* Willingness to travel across the UK and hold a full clean driving licence.
