THE EMPLOYER IS: FRESH MINDS EDUCATIONThe Marketing & Fundraising Worker supports promotional activity and fundraising initiatives that help sustain Fresh Minds Education’s work. The role contributes to increasing awareness, engagement, and income through marketing campaigns, events, and communications. This post supports both planned campaigns and responsive fundraising activity within the organisation.Fresh Minds Education is a mental health charity based in Antrim, working across Northern Ireland. Responsibilities
* Devising marketing campaigns and fundraising materials using digital tools.
* Supporting event promotion, community outreach and engaging with.
* Updating mailing lists and supporter records.
* Helping prepare fundraising communications and resources.
* Supporting data collection and basic reporting.
* Marketing Support Tools using email and digital marketing platforms.
* Fundraising Administration to support donation tracking and records and organising fundraising.
* Event Promotion - Assisting with promoting events and activities with partners and stakeholders.
* Basic Data Analysis - Recording and reviewing engagement and responses.
* Stakeholder Communication - Supporting communications with supporters and partners.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experience Supporting Marketing or Fundraising Activities: At least 1 year’s experience in a marketing, fundraising, administrative, retail, or customer-facing role (paid or voluntary), with evidence of supporting promotional activity or events.
* Digital Skills: Confident using email, Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel), and willing to learn simple email marketing or digital fundraising platforms.
* Written Communication Skills: Ability to draft clear, concise promotional messages, emails, or short campaign materials with good spelling and grammar.
* Organisation & Record Keeping: Able to maintain accurate mailing lists, supporter records, and simple tracking spreadsheets.
* Teamwork & Reliability: Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers, follow agreed plans, and complete tasks within deadlines.
* Customer Awareness: evidence of meeting supporters and community needs.
* Problem Solving skills that support solutions during campaigns and events.
* Proven ability to follow through on agreed tasks and responsibilities.
* Experience in a Charity, Community, or Education Setting: Previous involvement in supporting community events, awareness campaigns, or local fundraising initiatives.
* Awareness of Supporter Engagement: Some understanding of how to encourage community participation or build positive relationships with supporters.
