This role would suit an Engineer seeking to further enhance their structural design expertise within a collaborative environment, working closely with experienced technical teams.
Responsibilities
* Perform structural analysis and design calculations.
* Design structures in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
* Produce drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams such as architects, geotechnical, and MEP engineers.
* Conduct site visits, inspections, and structural investigations.
* Contribute to sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.
Qualifications
* Strong understanding of structural engineering principles.
* Prior experience working as a Structural Design Engineer.
* Clear communication skills, written and verbal.
* Experience with Structural software such as Tekla, ETABS, Rhino, and AutoCAD.
* Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering.
* Many graduate and specialist roles prefer or require a master's degree.
* Progress toward chartership is highly valued.
* Ability to work within a team.
* Familiarity with Eurocodes or international design standards.
