The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

What you’ll be doing day to day
Providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, ensuring clear and accurate answers.
Your duties will include:
1. Tailoring conversations with customers to ensure they leave feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
2. Handling technical aspects of the dispensary, including ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
3. Ensuring compliance with legal and professional requirements and guidance.
4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items.
5. Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
What you’ll need to have
Applicants should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is required, with support provided to complete training within 6 months if not already qualified.
Opportunities for further development include achieving NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services to register with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially leading to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role. Salary and benefits will reflect your qualifications and roles.
