Reporting To: Diocesan Youth Ministry Director
Hours of Work: 35 Hours per week
Place of Work: Gate Lodge, Catechetical Centre, St Eugene’s Cathedral, Francis Street, Derry
Job Role: Working under the supervision of the Diocesan Youth Ministry Director the main focus of the post will be working with young people, schools and parishes to help them develop their knowledge and understanding of youth ministry in the context of the Catholic Church leading to active youth ministry at school, parish and diocesan level.

They include areas such as:-
Working with parishes in developing youth ministry.
Planning, delivering and evaluation of PJPII Award.
Planning and delivering school retreats.
Planning and creating a yearly online programme and promoting this within schools.
Developing social outreach for the social awareness strand of PJPII award at local, diocesan and national level.
Engaging with young adults and developing the Young Adult Ministry.
Engagement with other groups in the Diocese who are working with young people.
Organise Diocesan Youth Events and youth pilgrimages.
