As a Distribution Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, performance, and safety of the depot. Your duties include overseeing daily operations, managing teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting KPIs, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisations to achieve operational excellence.

Your Role as Distribution Centre Manager:
1. Lead cultural transformation towards operational excellence using continuous improvement and lean methodologies, focusing on safety, service, cost, and environmental sustainability.
2. Implement change to foster a safety-first and improvement-driven distribution culture.
3. Ensure on-time and in-full delivery targets are met.
4. Enhance employee engagement across the site.
5. Manage the site P&L and budget, mitigating risks and seizing opportunities.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure confidence in service provision.
7. Ensure statutory compliance and governance, including adherence to O licence regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in operational excellence and lean methodologies.
* Project management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Management experience within logistics, supply chain, or operations.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team, focusing on results and engagement.
* Solid understanding of budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
