These schools are looking for full-time Teaching Assistants to support KS2 pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
Key Responsibilities
1. Full-time role starting ASAP, continuing into the New Year.
2. Support KS2 classes of pupils with moderate learning difficulties, including literacy and numeracy challenges, speech and language needs, and social/emotional development.
3. Work alongside experienced teachers, HLTAs, and other Teaching Assistants in a collaborative team.
4. Deliver tailored support through one-to-one and small group interventions.
5. Promote positive behaviour, independence, and emotional well-being.
About the Pupils
6. Moderate learning difficulties impacting core subjects.
7. Speech, language, andmunication challenges.
8. Social and emotional needs requiring patience and positive reinforcement.
9. Some pupils may need sensory support and help maintaining focus.
