THE ROLE
We are seeking a forward-thinking Global Network Architect to design and lead the evolution of a next-generation, software-defined, and cloud-integrated global network.
This rolebuilds onstrong enterprise networking fundamentals while advancing modern architectures such as SASE, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, and cloud-native networking,leveragingplatforms including Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki, and Zscaler.
You will serve as a technical leader responsible for designing scalable, secure, and automated network solutions across corporate offices, venues (including arenas), and cloud environments, while guiding the transition from legacy infrastructure to a fully software-defined, policy-driven architecture.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Architecture & Strategy
1. Lead the design and implementation of next-generation enterprise network architecture, including LAN, WAN, cloud, edge connectivity, andsmart spaces / venue intelligence network enablement.
2. Drive transformation from traditional networking to:
3. SD-WAN (Cisco Meraki / Catalyst SD-WAN)
4. SASE / Zero Trust (Zscaler ZIA/ZPA)
5. Cloud-native networking (AWS, Azure)
6. Define standards for secure, scalable, andhighly availablenetwork designs across global environments.
7. Partner with business and technical stakeholders to ensure architecture aligns with company initiatives and growth.
Network Engineering & Operations
8. Oversee andmaintain large-scale enterprise networks including:
9. Cisco Catalyst (campus/core switching)
10. Cisco Meraki (cloud-managed networking, SD-WAN, wireless)
11. Internet connectivity, routing, and VPN solutions
12. Venue wireless and in-building wireless technologies (Wi‑Fi, BLE, DAS)
13. Architect and support Layer 2/3 and Layer 4–7 services, including:
14. BGP, EIGRP, STP
15. Load balancing and traffic engineering
16. Design andoptimize secure remote access and site connectivity using IPsec, SSL VPN, and Zero Trustapproaches.
Security & Zero Trust
17. Strong knowledgeof Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) using Zscaler and similar platforms.
18. Integrate network security into architecture, including:
19. Secure web gateways
20. Cloud firewalling
21. Identity-aware access controls
22. Ensure compliance with security best practices and enterprise policies.
23. Collaborate closely with data security teams tomaintainand protect network integrity
Automation & Observability
24. Drive network automation and infrastructure-as-code using:
25. Python, Ansible, APIs
26. Build and enhance monitoring, telemetry, and analytics platforms to track:
27. Network performance
28. Capacity andutilizationtrends
29. Implement self-healing and scalable operationalprocesses.
Leadership & Collaboration
30. Act as a technical authority and mentor within the network engineering team.
31. Provide hands-on support, proof-of-concept development, and design validation.
32. Collaborate cross-functionallywith cloud, security, and application teams.
33. Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing acrossteams.

Core Networking
34. Deepexpertisein enterpriseand broadcast (IP)network design and architecture
35. Strong experience with:
36. Cisco Catalyst (switching, routing, campus/core design)
37. Cisco Meraki (cloud-managed networking, SD-WAN, wireless)
38. Advanced knowledge of:
39. BGP, EIGRP, STP
40. Layer 2–7 networking concepts
41. VPN technologies (IPsec, DMVPN, VTI, SSL VPN)
42. Wireless and smart-venue technologies:Wi‑Fi, BLE, DAS
Modern Networking & Security
43. Experience with Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA) or equivalent SASE platforms
44. Strong understanding of:

46. SASE frameworks
47. Secure access service edge design principles
Cloud & Hybrid Networking
48. Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure networking
49. Experience integrating on-prem networks with cloud environments
Automation & Tooling
50. Proficiencyin Python and/or automation frameworks (Ansible)
51. Experience with network monitoring and observability tools
52. Familiarity with APIs and infrastructure-as-code practices
Certifications (Preferred)
53. CCNP / CCIE (or equivalent experience)
54. Relevant cloud or security certifications (AWS, Azure, Zscaler)
