Responsibilities:
* Selling, pricing, product/market industry knowledge & promotion of the Utility product portfolio to ensure KPI's are met and exceeded (KPI's include order, sales & margin).
* Lead Generation: Identify and prospect new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and industry events.
* Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of prospective customers.
* Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company objectives.
* Market Analysis: Stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and pipeline management using SalesForce.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in power engineering sales, preferably within a medium or high voltage sales environment.
* Technical electrical engineering skills are preferred.
* Experience in dealing with ANZ Energy Utilities is required.
* Tertiary or a trade qualification within electrical and/or mechanical engineering is desired.
* Excellent communication skills with a consultative approach and growth mindset to problem solving.
