As the Business Operations Manager, you will directly support the directors to achieve organisational goals, through monitoring business operations and developing processes that meet the business' needs. This is an exciting new role, which will require enthusiasm along with excellent leadership, communication skills, and great team management.

Founded in 2013, Immense Events is a successful events and hire business. We are a leading provider of live music and food-based festivals across Dorset. We have a structured and sustainable growth plan for the next few years and are looking for someone to grow and develop within the role as the company continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
Building and overseeing processes based on our business goals; ensuring compliance in all areas
Measuring and maximising the efficiency of systems and procedures
Establishing and monitoring financial processes (including budgeting, expenditure, invoicing, cash flow, and pricing of services offered)
Working with Directors to plan project timelines and managing timelines and budgets
Oversee work of Admin Assistant in keeping invoices etc up to date
In consultation with the Directors, liaise with the company's accountants and Admin Assistants to ensure company accounts and VAT returns are all completed and submitted on time
Contributing to strategic planning as the company develops and projects and staffing expand
Recommending solutions that will improve company profitability and efficiency
Monitoring daily operations and addressing potential issues as they arise
Helping to establish and manage our hire business
Supporting the Directors in their roles
Working with the Directors to oversee the employment and deployment of a range of long-term and short-term team members within a positive, supportive culture
What you'll bring to the role:
Previous Business Operations Manager experience or experience in a similar role
Proven experience of financial planning and budgeting
Proven experience of managing a team
IT skills – ability to confidently use Microsoft Office, previous experience using Word, Excel, Powerpoint/Canva
Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with stakeholders and external partners, to ensure the successful and timely delivery of events.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan and deliver on complex projects with variable factors on time
Proven complex problem-solving skills
A flexible, creative, committed approach
Key Information
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent, 4-5 days per week.
Employment will be based on a 3 month probationary period.
Hours (based on 5 days): 37.5 hours a week based in the office, with some weekend availability essential. Dates include; 12th - 14th June, 31st July - 2nd August and 14th - 16th August (weekend work / additional hours as overtime or time in lieu)
Location: (office based in Bournemouth and requirement to work on-site at festival location over some weekends, weekend work / additional hours as overtime or time in lieu)
Salary: £39,000 - £48,750 based on 5 days a week. Dependent upon experience and training needs
Benefits: 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays), workplace pension, employee events
