Join our Research and Development team as an Analytical Development Scientist at our Haverhill manufacturing site to play a crucial role in the development and validation of analytical methods for new active pharmaceutical ingredients. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Analytical Chemist to support the development of robust analytical methods for the release testing of new active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Your Responsibilities You will: Develop, optimise, and validate analytical methods for small molecule APIs, primarily using HPLC, UHPLC, and GC (and hyphenated methods) Support method transfer and troubleshooting across internal and client-facing projects Generate high-quality technical documentation including method protocols, validation reports, and analytical sections of regulatory submissions Collaborate with cross-functional teams in R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless integration of analytical methods into GMP workflows Maintain compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), ICH guidelines, and internal quality systems You may also be asked to work with other analytical techniques (appropriate training will be provided). Our Requirements BSc, MSc or Ph.D in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline or extensive industrial experience.
