Corporate Associate (3-5 PQE)
Location: Southampton
Working Hours: 35 hours per week (Hybrid working model)
Salary: up to £90,000 DOE

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Associate 3-5 PQE to join my clients growing Southampton team. The role offers exposure to high-quality work comparable to City firms, within a friendly and collegiate environment, and is well suited to an ambitious solicitor seeking rapid progression.
You will advise on a wide range of corporate matters including:
* Private company M&A, private equity transactions, MBOs and MBIs
* Joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements and constitutional documents
* Demergers, reorganisations and reconstructions
* Commercial lending, security, financing and refinancing
* Opportunity to be involved in AIM flotations, takeovers and public company work
The team acts for acquirers, private equity and VCT funds, founders, management teams and funders, and is involved in many of the region’s most prominent transactions. You will work collaboratively on larger transactions while having autonomy to lead on others.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
* 3-5 PQE with prior Corporate experience
* Strong technical ability and confidence handling the full range of corporate processes
* 2:1 degree or higher preferred
Must eligible to work in the UK and happy to commute into the Southampton office 2/3 days a week. My Client is would also welcome conversations with candidates NQ-3 but you have to be living close to Southampton for continued office presence and support.
