The role focuses on improving mental health outcomes for children and young people with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. This includes delivering targeted interventions, coordinating support, and providing practical guidance and emotional support to reduce the likelihood of crisis situations.
You will also work closely with parents, carers, and families to build resilience and reduce reliance on crisis services. This involves developing informal support networks, delivering training programmes, and promoting co-production by drawing on lived experiences to empower families and strengthen peer connections.
