Our Permanence Teams work closely to support our children and young people once the Court has made a decision for them to be placed outside of their parents’ care with a final Order in place. The team also works with our Unaccompanied Young People who come to Dorset, and there are exciting opportunities to influence the decision making and provisions we offer to our young people. We believe in working with family members and key people in each child’s life to give them the best possible level of service, advocating for their needs and wishes wherever we can. There is travel needed across the country as not all of our young people are placed locally, and we can offer you a variety of challenges and opportunities for development. We are working to ensure the number of young people allocated to our workers is manageable and provides opportunities for more direct work
