Your new roleYou will work together with the Finance Manager and team to ensure the Finance Department runs smoothly and professionally - offering an excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will befortable with;
1. Balance Sheet
2. Accruals
3. Prepayments
4. Journals
5. Fixed Assets including depreciation
6. VAT
7. Bank - posting & reconciliation
8. Overseeing Credit Control, Sales & Purchase Ledger
9. Month End reporting
10. Management reporting
11. Transactional reporting
What you'll need to succeed
12. Ideally be a qualified or part qualified accountant (preferred). However, an AAT qualification and proven experience in a similar role will be considered
13. Experience of using Sage 50 and/or Microsoft Dynamics (desirable)
14. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
15. Flexibility and team player
16. Interested in getting involved in all the different areas that a finance team is responsible for
17. Able to remain calm under pressure and solve problems
