Your role You will be responsible for working with young people aged 11-25 on a 1-2-1 or group basis providing valuable life skills. As a Delivery Practitioner you will work alongside other members of staff and on a one-to-one basis to provide intensive outreach work and onsite provision to students on role with complex emotional and behavioural challenges that stop them engaging and progressing. You will liaise with other staff, family, and the child themselves to gain an understanding of how best to work and engage with them during delivery. The main objective of the role will be to break down the barriers to student’s engagement in their provision and support their navigation through the provision. Your role will include: Engaging with young people through conversational education to better understand themselves Develop projects with young people to find their spark Liaising with professionals, family, and other influencers Unpick progression barriers and move them closer to the next stage. Encourage an interest in academic subjects through a practical application of skills Evidencing progression through a variety of tools. Engaging parents/carers providing wholistic support Evidencing, understanding and presenting of information gleaned from students. Provide both reactive and proactive methods of delivery. Support wider barriers in young people’s lives. To support the delivery of 1-2-1 and group delivery for Pushforward Education - onsite and remotely. Tasks in the role include Development and Delivery of sessions for 1-2-1 students or in small groups Developing relationship for community engagement and work experience All the supporting paperwork associated with curriculum and evidencing delivery Liaise with administration to ensure evidence of work. Transporting students to and from units when required Follow strict safeguarding and health and safety protocols as part of Pushforward procedures. You must have a full clean driving licence with business insurance and own transport.
