Job Purposes

Accountable for one or more medium to large projects of medium to high complexity with a small- to large‑sized team. Responsible for creating project vision and planning documents and managing implementation, reporting and performance to deliver on time, within budget, and within scope. Supports sales activities, develops proposals, scope of work and estimates, and implements processes to improve policies, procedures, and training.


Responsibilities

* Project Planning – Ensure all activities are identified, organized, and resourced according to project objectives and organizational policies.
* Project Scope Management – Lead information gathering, analysis, and stakeholder consultation; specify, negotiate, and agree on deliverables.
* Stakeholder Management – Engage stakeholders to develop effective relationships and meet their needs.
* Requirements Management – Coordinate identification, elicitation, analysis, documentation, and verification of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
* Risk and Issue Management – Identify, evaluate and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints; develop and implement solutions.
* Project Reporting and Review – Draft review reports and presentations to support stakeholder evaluation of progress and change decisions.
* Project Team Management – Lead a small- to large‑sized team, communicate vision, coordinate activities, and build capability through training.
* Continuous Improvement – Review operations and implement innovation processes to deliver continuous improvement.
* Resource Management – Manage deployment, costs, forecasts, and variances to ensure effective utilization.
* Work Scheduling – Develop short- or medium‑term schedules and approve overtime or additional resources.
* Document Preparation – Organize and prepare complex documents and summarize data for special reports.
* Project Close‑out and Handover – Provide documentation and training for transition to business as usual; record lessons learned.
* Quality Assurance – Conduct quality reviews and facilitate third‑party reviews to resolve issues and maintain confidence.
* Personal Capability Building – Participate in development activities to improve performance and maintain external professional accreditation.

* Schedule Management – Sequence and schedule tasks into a project plan.
* Scope Management – Verify and manage changes to project scope.
* Testing – Design, create and administer test scripts to ensure requirement compliance.
* Requirements Facilitation – Lead elicitation, focus groups, and acceptance testing.
* Validate Requirements – Assess alignment of requirements with solution scope.
* Workflow Management – Plan and execute steps to achieve higher efficiencies.


Education

* Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent – Engineering or Computer Science.
* Active Project Management certification – PMP or equivalent.
* Fluency in Spanish and English is a plus.


General Experience

* 3 to 5 years as an unsupervised practitioner in similar roles.
* Experience with Industrial Operations or Engineering technology solutions in Oil and Gas, Electric Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, or Renewables.


Others

Willingness to travel is required; up to 30% domestic and/or international travel may be necessary.
