Your new role
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance function. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Bank Reconciliation – Ensuring all receipts and payments are accurately recorded and reconciled
2. Payment Processing – Managing biweekly provider payment runs with precision
3. Sales Invoicing – Generating and distributing client invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing
4. Credit Control – Monitoring aged debt and implementing effective credit control measures
5. Balance Sheet Support – Assisting with reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
6. System Efficiency – Processing records using Access Dimensions, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
What you'll need to succeed
7. 1 year of experience in accounts would be advantageous.
8. A finance graduate with high potential and looking to study, must have good knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting principles.
9. Studying AAT / AAT qualified
10. This role demands attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a collaborative mindset to support smooth financial operations across the business.
11. Good IT skills (Microsoft Office, Excel)
