This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well-presented and welcoming. We’d also like you to keep an eye out for anything that’s not as it should be, and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing. We have one large farmhouse set in the heart of Handcross and a picture-perfect cottage sat in the middle of Woodlands.Hours/ working pattern: This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can’t guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We’ll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts. We are specifically requesting Mondays and Fridays to be available days to work but can offer hours on different days of the week to suit our business needs. Working hours usually sit between 10am and 3pm. We have 4 Holiday cottages in Sussex, all beautifully presented and in stunning locations, you may be able to work extra hours at these if available. This would require you to be flexible and travel to complete the changeovers in Sheffield Park Gardens and Standen House( travel expenses are paid) Within this role sometimes you will be working alone and other times within a Team.
