Role Details
The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday, with hours to be agreed. Please note that the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to join the Emergency Department team at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The role involves providing comprehensive and confidential support to the General Manager and Clinical Service Manager.
This is a permanent, part-time position (29.6 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours). The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the department's administration, support the wider management team, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Candidate Requirements
* HND or equivalent in business administration
* Significant PA experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage demanding timescales
* Adaptability to changing circumstances and last-minute requirements
Knowledge, Training, and Experience
You should have excellent organisational and communication skills, work effectively as part of a team, and be able to work unsupervised using your initiative. Flexibility to adapt to change and last-minute demands is essential.
Having an HND or equivalent in business administration, significant PA experience, and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is required. Experience in taking accurate minutes and excellent interpersonal skills are also important.
