Your company
We are looking to recruit a Senior Retrofit Energy Assessor/Retrofit Manager to join our Planned Hub, working with a social housing provider's Decarbonisation team located in their office in Cambridgeshire.
Your role
As a Senior Retrofit Energy Assessor/Retrofit Manager, you'll be working to deliver high standards of service. You’ll be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing the team, maximising both individual and team potential. Reporting to the Decarbonisation Manager, you’ll provide assistance in positively impacting communities we work in, both during the project and by helping to leave a sustainable legacy. You will also provide key information about resident satisfaction and audit results.
You will oversee various PAS 2030/2035 retrofit schemes, including External Wall Insulation, Cavity Wall Insulation, Internal Wall Insulation, Windows, Loft Insulation, and Air Source Heat Pumps. Responsibilities include retrofit assessments, air tightness testing, EPC, and modelling to aid project delivery, with two direct reports. You will be the main contact for the Decarbonisation Division, ensuring PAS compliance and quality assurance of external PAS consultants reviewing design specifications. Working closely with Contracts Managers, you will oversee and supervise contracts from start to finish, including preparing the PAS2030/35 Plan. Ensuring adherence to the company's HSEQ policies and standards is also essential.
* Preparation and management of PAS 2030/35 compliance
* Providing project direction and consistency across schemes
* Undertaking retrofit assessments, EPC, Borescope surveys, and air tightness tests
* Conducting site visits to inspect works and complete relevant checks
* Managing supply chain compliance strategies
* Preparing and overseeing PAS2030/35 & MCS audits
* Ensuring all systems are in place and works meet standards
* Assessing building fabric, interpreting EPC ratings, and improving retrofit methods
Qualifications and experience
Candidates should have excellent customer service experience, ideally within social housing, with strong communication skills and IT literacy. You must hold Retrofit Assessor, Coordinator, and testing qualifications, with at least 1 year of Retrofit Coordinator experience.
Benefits
Salary up to £55,000 plus benefits including 26 days holiday, profit share bonus, pension, private healthcare, life assurance, share save, enhanced maternity/paternity pay, work perks, flexible working, cycle scheme, volunteering days, professional development, wellbeing support, and more.
Please note that a valid work permit may be required if you are not a passport holder of the country for the vacancy. Applications should be submitted via the 'Apply now' button. Do not provide bank or payment details.
