We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our office in Reading. The role involves managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries. As a key leadership figure within the Audit team, you will lead and develop members of the audit team whilst ensuring clients receive a quality service in all aspect.
You’ll make an impact by:
1. Identifying and resolving key audit matters and contentious items, in consultation with the client, senior members of the team and our national technical team as appropriate
2. Briefing and overseeing staff on assignments and providing on the job training as required
3. Attending and presenting at client audit committee and board meetings
4. Assisting with business development opportunities, including participation in scoping and pitching
5. Attending and participating in networking events

6. ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent
7. Currently working as an Audit Manager within a professional services firm, with proven experience in client handling and in producing high-quality Assurance
8. Experience of analytical review approach desirable
9. Embody our grow our own principal, with an ambition to coach, lead, develop and manage a team
