Key Responsibilities
Alongside providing excellent customer service, your role will involve various shopkeeping tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Responsibilities include:
1. Stock replenishment: Keeping shelves full and products correctly placed for customers.
2. Fulfilling online customer orders: Preparing orders for delivery.
3. Reducing wastage: Following product due diligence and markdowns for items nearing their sell-by dates.
4. Supporting the shop team: Assisting with checkout, managing Click & Collect, fulfilling on-demand orders, and more.
5. Maintaining a safe and tidy environment: Performing general shopkeeping tasks.
Essential Skills/Experience
* Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction.
Desirable Skills/Experience
* Experience in a customer-facing role.
* Interest and knowledge of food and drink trends.
* Flexible approach to support the branch as needed.
As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help deliver our unique Partner-led service and passion for food, making every customer visit memorable. Your dedication will foster customer trust and loyalty, ensuring they keep returning.
Work hours: Part-time (17.5 hours) on Wednesdays, Fridays, and alternate Saturdays, 14:00-21:30.
