Weekly Pay: £460 - £500
Contract: Long-term, full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 3:30pm

Are you a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant looking to support a small group of Year 2 pupils with additional needs and help them thrive?
Long Term Futures is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the B97 Redditch area to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. You will provide small group support to children with a range of special educational needs, helping them access learning, build confidence and develop key social and emotional skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about SEN support who enjoys building strong, consistent relationships with pupils.
Key Responsibilities
Support a small group of Year 2 pupils with SEN needs
Deliver tailored interventions focusing on communication, social skills and emotional regulation
Use strategies such as visual aids, sensory tools and structured routines
Support pupils during lessons, transitions and unstructured times
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo and external professionals
Monitor progress and provide feedback to support learning targets
Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour
Candidate Requirements
Experience supporting children with SEN (school-based or transferable experience considered)
Calm, patient and resilient approach
Confidence delivering interventions and classroom support strategies
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
