We have an exciting role on offer within our Neighbourhoods team as a Senior Neighbourhood Safety Warden.
Middlesbrough Council is seeking to appoint one Senior Neighbourhood Safety Wardens. Working towards a Fairer, Safer, and Stronger community.
To be successful in this role you need a minimum of a Level 2 qualification, hold a full UK Driving License, be eligible to submit an application for accreditation under the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme with Cleveland Police and meet the standards of acceptance to the Scheme which will include passing NPPV L2 security vetting.
Duties include:
* Assisting in the day-to-day management of the Council’s frontline Neighbourhood Safety Wardens including the direct daily supervision of operational staff within the service.
* This may include dealing with staff concerns or requests, contribute to the absence management system and investigate conduct or performance issues where directed.
* Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices using legislation from the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, you will also be responsible for overseeing parking enforcement deployments and duties within the town.
* Building community confidence through visual patrols, direct engagement and CCTV monitoring.
* Work with partners to tackle and resolve incidents of anti-social behaviour.
* Resolve environmental issues to enhance the physical appearance of the town.
* Inspection, Control, Enforcement and Security of parking areas throughout Middlesbrough.
