About the Role
Join Waythrough at Box Tree Farm as a Recovery Worker, supporting adults experiencing mental health crises within a recovery-focused environment. Box Tree Farm is a 24-hour Crisis House service operating 365 days a year, providing support to individuals aged 18 and over.
This role is centred around helping people regain independence, confidence, and stability during difficult periods in their lives. Working as part of a rota-based team, you will provide compassionate and person-centred support while helping individuals work towards their personal recovery goals.

The organisation specialises in mental health, alcohol, drugs, gambling, and related support services, with a vision to break down barriers that prevent people from accessing the support they need to live fulfilling lives.
What You'll Do
1. Support individuals experiencing mental health crises within a safe and recovery-focused environment.
2. Help people maintain their independence and develop practical life skills.
3. Work collaboratively with individuals to create personalised support and recovery plans.
4. Encourage and support access to education, employment, leisure, and community opportunities.
5. Assist with developing domestic, budgeting, and tenancy management skills.
6. Build positive and professional relationships with people using the service.
7. Work both independently and as part of a wider support team.
8. Participate in a rota system, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties where required.
9. Contribute to creating a supportive, respectful, and empowering environment for recovery.
