Our client is a well-established mechanical design & build contractor, delivering Mechanical HVAC projects across a range of commercial and industrial environments. Due to continued project wins, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical HVAC Project Manager to join their growing projects team.
You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of Mechanical HVAC projects, typically ranging from £50k to £5m+, overseeing design coordination, procurement, installation, commissioning and final handover.
Key responsibilities:
Managing Mechanical HVAC projects from pre-construction through to completion
Developing system specifications, construction drawings and technical documentation
Managing technical submissions and RFI coordination with Project Managers
Procurement of plant, materials, suppliers and subcontractors
Coordinating site activities and managing subcontractors
Full commercial responsibility, including cost control, variations, valuations and final accounts
Monitoring labour, materials, forecasts and project P&L
Overseeing commissioning, handover and preparation of O&M manuals About you:
Strong background in Mechanical HVAC design & build projects
Proven experience managing projects within commercial and/or industrial buildings
Solid understanding of HVAC principles and installation practices
Comfortable managing projects both technically and commercially
Experience or working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM is beneficial
Confident communicator, able to work independently and as part of a wider team What’s on offer:
Salary between £50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience
