Role Overview
A permanent vacancy for a B8A Principal Clinical Psychologist in the Community Perinatal Mental Health Team, a multidisciplinary service for women during pregnancy and the first postnatal year.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality psychological assessment and evidence‑based therapy (individual and group) for women with a range of psychiatric disorders, including first‑episode psychosis, mood and anxiety disorders.
* Deliver consultation to the multidisciplinary team and provide reflective practice, staff training and supervision of psychological interventions delivered by multidisciplinary staff.
* Supervise and line‑manage within the specialist services, working with a Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
* Provide clinical placements for trainees undertaking the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, ensuring training is recognised by the DClinPsy programme.
Qualifications & Experience
* Formal training in supervision of others, recognised by the DClinPsy programme.
* For trainee Clinical Psychologists: expected to qualify soon.
* Experience in perinatal or maternity mental health is an advantage.
