Overview
Housekeeper role at Care Concern Group, Marchmont House Care Home, Port Glasgow. Contract: Full Time. Salary: £12.21 Per Hour. Shift Type: Days. Contracted hours: 30. Located in the leafy residential area of Port Glasgow, Marchmont Care Home provides high-quality Residential and Nursing care for up to 51 residents in a warm and welcoming setting.
Responsibilities
* Keep the home spotless and welcoming for residents, visitors and staff. Carry out daily cleaning tasks to a high standard, care for a variety of surfaces and furnishings, manage laundry efficiently, and ensure sanitary facilities are hygienic and well-stocked. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a safe and pleasant environment that supports residents’ wellbeing and comfort.
What We’re Looking For
* Someone with a keen eye for detail and pride in their work.
* Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.
* A team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
* Understanding of health and safety and infection control practices (or willingness to learn).
What We Offer
* £12.21 per hour
* Contracted to 30 hours per week

* 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
