£40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) + great company benefits An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced and qualified Health & Safety Manager to join our company, working with one of our major UK supermarket clients. The role is to assist in the management and delivery of an effective Corporate Health and Safety service to ensure City Facilities Management (UK) Ltd and City Facilities Management (Distribution) Ltd meet their statutory responsibilities and provide safe working environments for employees, clients, and others affected by our activities across retail, distribution, and office sites. The role is based in the South and covers the South of England and South Wales. Occasional travel will be required to the Glasgow Head Office. Responsibilities:
Formulate and develop health and safety systems, procedures, and practices. Review procedures to accommodate new and existing legislation, Codes of Practice, and Guidance, as directed. Implement and monitor policies and plans, including accident and incident investigations, reporting, and analysis, and promote improvements. Assist in developing audit and risk management procedures appropriate to CFM’s activities and properties. Undertake safety audits to monitor systems and verify audit reports. Provide advice and assistance to Directors, Senior Managers, and Employees on health and safety and environmental issues where appropriate. Review health and safety performance across departments. Liaise with enforcement agencies and the ASDA Regional Compliance Team as required. Support other initiatives within the City group of companies as needed. Special Features:
