This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced and hard-working Sales Progression Department at our Head Office in Bracknell as a Sales Progression Executive.
The Sales Progression team offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication and accurate administrative skills. The role rewards employees with high organisational and prioritisation skills and provides uncapped commission opportunities through upselling beneficial products and services to customers, supporting the progression of sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage the file progression process for sales from Sale Agreed to Completion.
2. Maintain a pipeline of sales according to team SLA’s for turnaround time, abandon rate, and communication standards.
3. Ensure all actions are completed to meet exchange and completion dates within specified timescales.
4. Send outgoing documentation to relevant parties promptly and record all communications within our systems.
5. Address queries from any parties efficiently, maintaining timely communication at all times.
6. Keep branch teams informed of the status of each sale managed on their behalf via system notes and email notifications of key events.
7. Notify management promptly of any issues that may affect exchange or completion dates.
8. If progress is hindered by difficulties or issues with agreements, brief the branch manager and liaise to renegotiate deals swiftly, especially regarding price renegotiations.
9. Discuss any complaints from parties with management immediately upon receipt.
10. Produce a monthly list of predicted exchanges with a targeted accuracy of 10%.
11. Record key conversations with all parties through system notes and confirm via email or letter if email access is unavailable.
12. Maintain and update system records promptly, highlighting and correcting data errors.
13. Build strong relationships with branch staff and service providers such as solicitors (panel and non-panel), financial services advisors, and surveyors.
14. Upsell conveyancing and financial services upon Sale Agreed and emphasize the importance of buildings insurance at exchange. Identify opportunities to offer ongoing services like lettings.
15. Ensure compliance with all legal, procedural, and ethical standards, including those in the RICS "Blue Book." Address any queries to the SST Associate Director.
16. Develop understanding of legal requirements in conveyancing and key documents needed for sales progression, advising vendors and buyers as appropriate.
17. Manage property lists, searches, and service requests efficiently to enhance client experience.
