Micheldever Tyres is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Shift Supervisor with excellent work ethic to join our team. Reporting to the Shift Manager/Operations Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the warehouse shift operation through a team of warehouse operative and / or Drivers.
Supporting the Shift Manager/Operations Manager, creating operational plans, implementing the Companies Standard Operational Policies, Procedures and Practices including Health and Safety. You will take a proactive approach to drive the Shift forward with new initiatives, whilst creating a positive working environment and culture for team members.

Must have
Warehouse / Logistics experience, with proven leadership skills. Please be aware heavy lifting is involved.

About the role
* Creating daily and weekly plans as required
* Drive efficiencies, whilst improving service levels
* Accountable for ensuring all team members comply with all aspects of Legal and Company defined legislations and policies
* Monitoring and control of process accuracy
* Promote and drive company initiatives effectively
* Support the Shift Manager/Operations Manager to maximise stock levels and product availability.
* Maintain accurate records to ensure legal compliance.
* Demonstrate a proactive approach to excellent Customer Service is delivered
About You
* Demonstratable leadership skills
* Experience of Health & Safety management in a similar environment
* Experience in a supervisory role preferred
* Previous warehouse operations experience logistics operations preferred
* Experience of creating operational plans ideal but not essential
* Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business
