The opportunity:

We are looking for someone who has a constant drive for improvement and is passionate about data to help us better understand our customers and our business. The MI and insight you produce will have real impact on the people and processes within our global organisation so that we can better serve our customers. This role will not only be pivotal to those changes but will also be there to challenge how we identify them.

What will you be doing?

1. Develop data pipelines to support the automation of data reporting
2. Collect and analyse data from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and correlations
3. Create and deliver reports and visualizations to communicate insights and findings to stakeholders
4. Collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and identify opportunities for data-driven decision making
5. Identify and implement data quality improvements
6. Provide technical leadership to other team members

Who are we looking for?

7. A degree in a science-related subject is beneficial, but not essential—equivalent experience or a passion for data is equally valued
8. Experience in a data related role (Engineering, Analyst or Data Scientist)
9. Strong programming skills in SQL or/and Python
10. Experience with data manipulation, data visualization, and statistical analysis
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
12. Experience in the insurance industry or related field is a plus
13. Snowflake experience is beneficial, but not essential—we value your willingness to learn more than a perfect skill match
14. Comfortable with dealing with ambiguity
15. Self-motivated and delivery focussed
16. Ability to confidently challenge and influence others
