As National Fundraising Manager, the successful candidate will lead the development, implementation, and growth of key fundraising income streams within UK Fundraising department, ensuring consistent year-on-year increases in income and impact. The National Fundraising Manager will oversee a team of managers, coordinators, and officers, providing strategic direction, operational support, and performance management to ensure excellence in delivery. Working collaboratively with the second National Fundraising Manager, the postholder will ensure alignment across fundraising initiatives and contribute to the income growth of key programme projects. They will be responsible for developing and embedding effective fundraising methodologies and practices across their portfolio, driving innovation and consistency. The role includes direct oversight of two out of four major annual campaigns, ensuring they are strategically planned, well-executed, and deliver strong returns. Key duties and responsibilities of the National Fundraising Manager: Strategic Implementation : Work with the Associate Director and Head of Fundraising to develop and implement the annual Fundraising Strategy, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and national priorities. Income Growth : Deliver year-on-year growth across assigned income streams and programme-related fundraising, meeting or exceeding agreed financial targets. Campaign Oversight : Lead the planning, execution, and review of two out of four seasonal campaigns, ensuring strong ROI, donor engagement, and strategic impact. Team Leadership : Effectively manage and support fundraising managers, coordinators, and officers to deliver on their income targets and professional development plans. Methodology Development : Contribute to the development and refinement of fundraising methodologies and practices across income streams, ensuring consistency, innovation, and scalability. Programme Support : Collaborate with the second National Fundraising Manager to ensure fundraising growth for key programme projects, with clear documentation and reporting. Event Delivery : Ensure local and national fundraising events are well-supported, strategically planned, and delivered to high standards, including compliance with Health & Safety and Fundraising Regulator guidelines. Volunteer Engagement : Increase the number and quality of volunteers and ambassadors, supporting their integration into campaigns and events. Compliance & Quality Assurance : Ensure all fundraising activities meet internal policies, UK fundraising regulations, and donor intent, with accurate attribution and audit-ready documentation. What we’re looking for in National Fundraising Manager: Minimum GCSE Mathematics, English. Ideally educated to Degree level. Minimum of 5 years’ experience within Fundraising Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience managing a team Computer literate and competent with Microsoft Office, Social Media, Donor Management systems English essential. Knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic/Urdu/Bengali/Gujarati/ Hindi/Punjabi an advantage.
