Job Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons to GCSE students in a specific subject area
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Develop individualised learning plans for students based on their strengths and weaknesses
* Prepare students for GCSE exams through targeted exam practise and revision sessions
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
Required Qualifications:
* Relevant degree in the subject area being taught
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) preferred
* Experience working with GCSE students
Education:
Degree in the subject area being taught
Experience:
Prior experience working with GCSE students
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate and inspire students
* Organisational skills to plan lessons effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)
* Experience in preparing students for GCSE exams
Working Conditions:
* Work in a classroom or tutoring centre setting
* Full-time hours, typically during school hours and may involve some evenings or weekends for exam preparation
* Interaction with students, parents, and colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
