An opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team in our busy wholesale and retail business Tile Boutique based in Hayfield Industrial Estate, Kirkcaldy. Our business sells wall & floor tiles and associated products to both the public and the trade along with retailing bathroom sanitary ware and furniture. We currently require a full time Sales Assistant / Customer Service Representative. You'll need to have a positive mindset, a strong work ethic, confidence speaking to others and a professional attitude. You'll be outgoing, enjoy a challenge and be willing to learn new things. In return we offer a pleasant work place environment with weekly pay and 28 days (pro rata) holiday.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
* Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner.
* Serve customers by helping them select products.
* Respond to customers questions and enquiries both face to face and by email.
* Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters.
* Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling and sharing of product knowledge.
* Provide outstanding customer service.
* Build rapport with customers.
* Document sales by creating and editing customer profile records.
* Manage financial transactions.
* Process sales payments by cash, card or account.
* Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
* Keep Showroom and other areas clean and tidy.
* Alert management of any potential issues.

Education and Experience requirements:
We welcome experience in any of the following areas: sales representative, sales, field sales, marketing, retail, call centre, receptionist, warehouse, management experience, hospitality, face to face, supervisor, team leader, managerial, sales assistant, front of house and any other customer service or sales role.

Hours offered:
Although a degree of flexibility is possible we are looking for someone to work part time 4-5 Days a week to include Tuesday and some Saturdays. Week day hours between the hours 8am – 5pm and Saturdays 9am – 4pm. We are closed on Sundays.
