Description HR Support Officer - Health Safety and Wellbeing | 9112 | Temporary Contract/Secondment Opportunity until January 2027 | 37 hours per week | £26,403 - £28,142 per annum | Scale E | Norwich We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Support Officer to join our successful and enthusiastic Health, Safety and Wellbeing team, who provide professional in-house leadership, advice and support to its in-house services and employees; as well as having a strong traded brand that complements and supports the delivery of services to Norfolk County Council. The successful candidate will primarily be the ‘front door’ to the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team, providing initial advice and signposting to our internal and external customers and colleagues, and escalating within the professional HSW team for further specialist advice. The role of an HSW support officer is varied, no day will be the same, and includes responding to emails, phone calls, system requests, whilst also supporting the entire HSW team and our related professional externally provided services. This will include support to our schools, ensuring that core administrative functions are completed, and providing a professional and supportive response to our varied customers. Our support officers act as the initial responders to our Dignity at Work line, where the ability to actively listen and provide / action support, is a priority. Experience of working in a customer focused role, with the ability to prioritise various demands and confident use of IT packages, such as Microsoft Office is essential.
