We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Marketing to head up our integrated marketing strategy for Europe and the Rest of the World at Ooni. We realise that sounds huge; we have recently adopted a regional operating model which separates North America into its own operating structure, so you can take one (1) continent off your ‘To Do List’.
This is a super important role for us with endless scope to really influence Ooni’s success. You’ll be tasked with designing and coordinating the implementation of high-impact, cross-channel marketing campaigns, working closely with global and regional teams to drive brand growth, customer acquisition, and retention. You’ll be passionate about creating exceptional consumer experiences across channels, with a strong emphasis on digital and direct-to-consumer (DTC) applications.
This role reports directly to the regional President and is one of the most senior marketing roles in the organisation. We’re looking for a stellar candidate with meaningful expertise in multi-channel marketing across European markets, particularly in core regions such as the UK, Germany, and France. This is a unique opportunity for an inspiring, compassionate, and ambitious leader to drive Ooni’s regional growth and brand across diverse and exciting markets.
While this role has global responsibilities, we’re prioritising candidates who can be based out of our HQ in Edinburgh, Scotland, with some travel involved. We operate a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days per week in the office to maximise connection and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing Strategy
o Develop and implement an innovative multi-channel marketing strategy for Europe and RoW, aligning with our global brand strategy.
o Maintain a focus on digital and DTC initiatives to improve customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
o Leverage data and consumer insights to identify market opportunities and shape strategic campaigns.
2. Digital & DTC Marketing
o Foster innovation in digital marketing, including performance marketing, CRM, and personalisation strategies.
o Pilot DTC campaigns, scaling e-commerce and optimising customer journeys.
o Implement tools and technologies to enhance digital marketing performance and analytics.
3. Performance & Analytics
o Monitor and measure marketing campaign effectiveness, ensuring ROI and business impact.
o Develop KPIs and dashboards to track performance and refine strategies.
4. Brand Marketing
o Drive brand positioning and storytelling across Europe, ensuring regional relevance.
o Oversee large-scale campaigns across digital, social media, retail, and experiential platforms.
o Ensure initiatives are culturally attuned and aligned with European consumer trends in key markets.
5. Team & Stakeholder Management
o Manage and motivate a high-performing marketing team across regions.
o Partner with stakeholders across product development, sales, and global teams to align goals.
o Serve as the regional expert on consumer behavior, market dynamics, and trends.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven senior marketing leadership in consumer product marketing across multi-channel environments.
* Expertise in digital and DTC marketing, with success in growth through performance marketing and e-commerce.
* Significant experience in European markets, especially the UK, Germany, and France.
* Deep understanding of European consumer behaviors, market dynamics, and regulations.
* Strong data-driven mindset with strategic insight capabilities.
* Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing diverse, high-performing teams.
